Infrastructure and Transportation Policy

Rebuilding Alberta

Alberta needs a sensible approach to rebuilding our aging public infrastructure and transportation links.

  • The Alberta Liberals promise that our government would construct the necessary roads, hospitals, schools and other infrastructure at a steady, consistent pace.
  • We will move away from the boom-bust financing and construction of provincial infrastructure, thereby keeping costs, and jobs, stable.
  • We will promote public transit options, building better communities and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
  • We will advance the high-speed rail link between Edmonton and Calgary via Red Deer.
